Re: Scope Box : What is it for? Scope boxes are intended to control the crop regions of views and datum such as Reference Planes, Levels and Grid Lines. By control I mean a view can be assigned to a scope box and the boundary of the scope box will govern the crop region. I am trying to copy monitor the scope boxes, grids and levels from each building model into the annotation model but I am not able to. My annotation model doesn't display the scope box even though it is turned on in the view template.

Are you referring to the callout boundary on the referencing sheet? Its not possible to link the callout boundary to a scope box. With dependent views you would use scop boxes, matchlines and view reference labels. Callout boundaries are linked to the crop region of the view they create. For now, go to a uncropped 3d view, select all scope boxes, make them a group, and save the group to a new file. Send that file along with your model to the consultant and ask them to open it, copy the group and paste align to their model. It is easier than having to find the scope box from your working model.
